  1. You can customize your public URL
  2. Join groups where your target audience is, as you will be able to invite them to connect and send them messages, without having to use a Premium account or waste InMails. But be careful, don’t use it to send spam, use this power to send relevant and useful messages to group members or you might be kicked out of it.
  3. Also in the groups, join them, and add members that may interest you, and even if they are the second or third grade you will have access to their activity and receive their updates.
  4. Multimedia content tends to have more impact than sole words. Add videos and other content of the sort to your profile, as well as CTA (Call To Action) to get more interactivity and let your network know the kind of services you offer.
  5. To shorten links to other websites, shortening and personalizing them is better. Use bit.ly, it is free!
  6. Receive leads directly from your profile: if you have a whitepaper or ebook for your company, you can use it to generate leads from your profile by adding, for example, a free contact form created with Google Drive, or you can ask your Marketing Department to create a custom form.
  7. Share the content of interest to your contacts. Why don’t you create a Google News account to keep abreast of major news from your sector and its competitors?
  8. Do you want to improve interaction with users? Knowing their interests and personality beforehand can be a great asset in knowing how to approach them. Install Crystal Knows, a LinkedIn extension and… surprise!
  9. Give something in return. According to a study, those who provide valuable tips and sorts of advice or information on LinkedIn have a better chance of reaching a more valuable audience and connect with more contacts. Create content of value.
  10. Use the Boolean DNA or OR commands in Advanced People Search on LinkedIn.
