Prior to that, he obtained a grant in Telefonica to develop the Talentum Schools project aimed at boosting registration in technology majors.

As for TalentHackers, it is an attractive project “that empowers users, thanks to the value of their data, in the search for professionals,” confirms Juan. “This innovative platform reduces the time it takes to identify talent and increases effective hiring.”

Catenon Ventures and Talent Hackers

On the other hand, this revolutionary collaborative model is based on a distributed network developed by Catenon Ventures, the innovation hub by Catenon, the technology multinational dedicated to the global search for professionals.

It has been developed in collaboration with El Confidencial, which boasts over 12 million monthly unique visitors, and the newspaper 20Minutos, a leading publication owned by Henneo and Spain’s second newspaper in terms of a number of readers. This data enables the platform to reach around 21 million unique visitors per month.

According to a study conducted by Jobvite in 2016, referrals are used in only 7% of processes but help cover 40% of positions applied for, and this figure continues to rise.  Moreover, referrals tend to remain longer in the company, and are selected in 35% less time when compared to other recruitment channels.

Juan has joined our team to head the TalentHackers project as part of the technology platform for talent identification solutions.

By investing in R+D+i, Catenon develops different research initiatives, specialized in data technology to identify professionals around the world.
