Catenon continues to strengthen its global network with new offices in Abu Dhabi and Dubai.

The Middle East is a well-known market for Catenon. Since 2007, we have been developing our business in the KSA and Dubai markets, which offer many opportunities. The Middle East is one of the most dynamic markets in the world in terms of foreign trade. In the last few years, its recruiting industry has also witnessed big changes as a result of the new-word economy and latest technologies.

To face these changes and align our 2020 growth strategy, a new alliance has emerged. We are happy to announce the partnership with Gulvain Partners, based on Abu Dhabi and Dubai.

Iain Sach, new Catenon’s partner, says about the partnership “Gulvain Partners and Catenon is a collaboration that was born out of necessity and opportunity. We will be able to focus more on quality of service and execution as Catenon brings its expertise and global reach to our local knowledge and relationships”.

UAE Job Market: a great opportunity for global recruitment

“One of the main reasons for this partnership was because of the unique nature of the local markets. Typically talent needs to be attracted from outside the region”, adds Iain. Indeed, 80% of the population in the UAE is expat so being able to leverage Catenon’s global platform, expertise, methodology and reach will be most efficient in solving some of the unique challenges of the labour market in the Middle East; as well as making this an exciting opportunity for the future.

Pablo Sánchez, our Managing Director for Partnerships, has a wide experience in UAE. “The Middle East market is well known to us. The United Arab Emirates were always considered the ideal spot for our Middle East clients, as it offers the reach needed to attend projects throughout the region”. With many big projects arising in the area, Pablo sees a lot of opportunities for Gulvain Catenon, not only in Executive Search with a technological approach but in Recruitment Process Outsourcing (RPO) as well.

About Gulvain Partners as Catenon Partner

Gulvain Partners brings a wealth of knowledge and relationships developed across various sectors over the last 6 years spent operating in the region. The added value has always been quality of service. The idea is “to align our business to Catenon’s and then roll out our enhanced proposition existing and new clients across the Middle East”, says Iain. We do agree that these are very exciting times ahead and “we feel with this enhanced proposition we will be able to grow despite the challenging environment we currently face”, Iain concludes.

Expanding our experience to the Middle Eastern region, area evolving tremendously in the recent years will, on one side allow us to consolidate solid and traditional markets and on the other side to create big projects in certain areas such as Saudi.

Catenon’s valued proposition

We are absolutely focused on understanding the top challenges of the Middle East and Emerging Markets businesses, and providing specific strategic, advisory and search solutions. This partnership will help Catenon define a clear business strategy in the local market and provide our partner with the international scope they need.
